Description
Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Palliative Care Physician to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based.
About the position:
-168 clinical shifts per year
-General Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off ; 8a-8p
-No Call
-Average 8-12 patients seen per day
-Works with an interdisciplinary team, including other physicians, ARNPs, a social worker, and a chaplain
Qualifications:
-BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
-Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
-Palliative fellowship training recommended
-One to 3 years’ experience in inpatient palliative care setting preferred

COMPENSATION: $247,200.24 (1471.43/shift) + the opportunity to pick up extra shifts
