Danielle Faye Jonas, MSW, LCSW
Danielle Faye Jonas is a third year PhD student at New York University pursuing a doctorate in social work with a focus in pediatric palliative care. She is currently doing her dissertation on the lived experience of siblings of children with severe neurologic impairment. Ms. Jonas also has a private therapy practice where she does bereavement counseling, facilitates bereavement groups for people who have lost loved ones to COVID-19, and works with children and families. Prior, she was a pediatric palliative care social worker on the comfort and palliative care team at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she served as the bereavement coordinator and facilitated bereavement support groups for both parents and siblings. Ms. Jonas is a graduate of the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship, specializing in pediatric palliative care, and she received her MSW from Indiana University.
