A New Coalition Launches to Revolutionize Cancer Care Across the United States
The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) is so happy to be a part of "Together for Supportive Cancer Care," a new nationwide coalition that focuses on expanding early, equitable access to whole-person supportive care for people living with cancer. The coalition is represented by over 40 organizations across various sectors (e.g., patient advocacy groups, cancer care providers, etc.) to promote early, equitable care that enhances quality of life, improves treatment outcomes, and reduces costs. The coalition focuses on policy advocacy, research, and employer engagement to make supportive cancer care a national standard.
