CAPC Launches Updated Symptom Management Courses
CAPC is excited to announce that it has updated its Symptom Management courses to include the latest clinical techniques for assessing and managing common sources of distress such as nausea, constipation, dyspnea, depression, and anxiety. Updates also include practical management strategies to reduce serious complications and side effects; and the latest guidelines on the treatment of mental health symptoms in those with serious illness.
CAPC members can use these online courses to learn evidence-based strategies to improve patient quality of life and help prevent avoidable crises. Those who have taken previous Symptom Management courses can take these and earn new continuing education credits (for physicians, nurses, social workers, and care managers). Free ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits are also available for physicians.
