The new Scorecard measures America's readiness to meet the needs of people with serious illness.

Today, CAPC launched the new 2024 Serious Illness Scorecard ("Scorecard"), which rates each state's capacity to deliver high-quality care to people living with a serious illness. The Scorecard provides an in-depth report on each state’s palliative care landscape, comparisons to other states across the country, and actionable recommendations to improve access to palliative care in your state or region.

Visit the Scorecard website to find out your state's rating, read the key findings, review recommendations for palliative care champions and federal and state policymakers, and more.

Also, join CAPC CEO Brynn Bowman, MPA, and the CAPC Health Care Transformation team on Tuesday, December 10, 4:30 - 5:30 pm ET, as they unveil the scorecard during a national briefing that is free and open to all. Together, they will review each state's readiness to meet the needs of people living with serious illness, and their families and caregivers.
