CAPC Survey Finds that Clinical Capacity is a Top Concern
An article published in Palliative Care News discusses a recent webinar that reviewed findings from CAPC's Palliative Pulse survey. Nearly 800 palliative program leaders and team members in the US shared that they are increasingly concerned about clinical capacity as they face rising demand, staff shortages, and high turnover. Results also show that 37% of respondents cited difficulty meeting clinical demand, with 34% reporting challenges in hiring qualified professionals. Addressing workforce well-being, expanding clinical education, and improving reimbursement models are key strategies suggested for 2025.
