Home-Based Palliative Care Enhances Quality of Life for Patients Living with Heart Failure
A recent scoping review in the Journal of Palliative Medicine found that home-based palliative care for heart failure patients improves quality of life, caregiver well-being, and reduces health care costs. The review recommended ongoing symptom management education for clinicians, while empowering patients and caregivers to identify symptoms at home may further enhance care.
