National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP)
The National Academy for State Health Policy is a nonpartisan forum of policymakers throughout state governments, who are committed to learning, leading, and implementing innovative solutions to health policy challenges. NASHP accomplishes its mission by convening state leaders to solve problems and share solutions, conducting policy analyses and research, disseminating information on state policies and programs, and providing technical assistance to states.
CAPC and NASHP collaborate to disseminate examples of state-specific policies that advance access to quality palliative care for patients with serious illness. Through speaking, writing, and technical assistance, our two organizations are working together to accelerate state health policy that ensures access to quality palliative care for all patients and families who would benefit.
