Expanded access to palliative care via telehealth has created opportunities to transform the care of people living with serious illness. While a growing body of literature suggests that telehealth improves patient outcomes, gaps in the evidence on financial outcomes and the absence of long-term policies to guarantee telehealth access have undermined its progress.

In this webinar, CAPC’s Health Care Transformation Team will explore the evolving landscape of telehealth, including prescribing regulations, payment opportunities, and other policy issues as they pertain to the care of people living with serious illness, and their caregivers. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the current state of palliative care telehealth delivery and research, which will inform their practice, and learn of opportunities to address gaps through research and quality improvement initiatives.
