Description
MedStar Health is recruiting a Medical Director with experience leading a large (preferably academic) team to join our MedStar Washington Hospital Center Palliative Care Team. This is the largest team in our system with ~23 interdisciplinary FTEs (MD/APP/social work/rx/chaplain/RN). We have inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth palliative care at this site. This site also houses our academic programs (with a dedicated program director in place) including MD/APP/SW fellowships.

About our Palliative Care Teams:
Our nearly 100 clinicians work in interdisciplinary teams across our nine acute care hospitals.
Our inter-disciplinary teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, RNs, social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains and administrative roles.
