Purpose of the Position:
The Palliative Care Advance Practice Nurse will work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment to provide specialty level palliative care expertise to seriously-ill and medically complex patients on the palliative care service
Job Qualifications:
Masters in Nursing as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Graduate level palliative care training preferred.
Specialty level certification obtained within two years of hire and maintained throughout employment.
1-3 years palliative care experience preferred or experience with complex disease management and advance care planning in the acute care/hospital setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
