Supportive Oncology Physician Lead

About this role:
As a .75 FTE Support Oncology Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  As the .25 FTE System Lead, the Physician shall provide specialty-specific leadership, research, and medical direction for supportive care services within the Oncology Clinical Program. The Physician will work closely with the Oncology Clinical Program, Homecare and Hospice, SelectHealth, Emergency Departments, System-Wide cancer genomics, clinical trials, and Translational Medicine efforts, emphasizing quality care delivery, clinical research, and service excellence. The Physician will work to maintain and support a framework for the Oncology Clinical Program to develop and enhance supportive care for cancer patients in the Intermountain system.

• This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, up to $36,000 in residency stipend and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable
• You will practice in the greater Salt Lake Valley.

What you’ll bring:
• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in Internal Medicine
• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
