Description
MedStar Health is recruiting an attending physician to join a large inpatient palliative care team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This is the largest team in our system with ~23 interdisciplinary FTEs (MD/APP/social work/rx/chaplain/RN). This site also houses our academic programs (with a dedicated program director in place) including MD/APP/SW fellowships. This role will include obtaining a Georgetown University faculty appointment.

About our Palliative Care Teams:
Our nearly 100 clinicians work in interdisciplinary teams across our nine acute care hospitals.
Our inter-disciplinary teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, RNs, social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains and administrative roles.
