Description
The Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship (HPM) at the University of Missouri currently has two open positions. One to begin on July 1, 2025 and one to begin in the November, 2025-January, 2026 date range. Our program is a year-long and is designed to train physician-educators in the delivery of interdisciplinary palliative care.
Mid-career physicians are strongly encouraged to apply, as we value the unique perspectives and experiences they bring to the program. We are dedicated to tailoring our fellowship program to the specific interests and goals of our learners.
Applicants should be:
Board-certified or board-eligible in a primary specialty
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Missouri
Demonstrated interest in palliative care and end-of-life care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to teaching and mentoring medical learners
