Sheralin's Diagnosis: Sheralin is a caregiver for her 59-year-old mother, who is living with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

Sheralin's Story: Sheralin cares for her devoted single mother, who previously worked as a caretaker for older adults. As her mother’s illness progressed, Sheralin turned to the palliative care team for guidance. The team helped her secure additional support for her mother’s care and provided Sheralin with assistance in managing her own stress, depression, and anxiety. Through their expertise, the team provided her with the tools to navigate the emotions and challenges of caregiving.
