Ariel Clay, MBA, MS, RN, ANP-BC, ACHPN
Ariel Clay is the Director of Palliative Care, at Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo, Inc. She received her Master of Science Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2010 and obtained her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Health Care Management in 2023. She has experience as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in hospice and palliative care, neurology, and home care. Prior to joining Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo, Inc., Ariel helped one of the region’s largest medical practices establish an outpatient palliative care division. In her current role she is the Director of a community based palliative care program (Home Connections) and has a dedicated team of various disciplines providing symptom management, emotional support, and education about their disease to help improve quality of life for both patients and caregivers. She is devoted in leveraging her clinical knowledge and leadership experience to drive innovative solutions that enhance access to care, education, and advocacy.
Ariel is also a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York and was a former board member for the Hospice Foundation. She recently was an award recipient for 40 Under 40, which spotlights those who are younger than age 40, successful in their professions and involved in their communities.
