Chelsey Labadie, MSNRN, CHPN
Chelsey Labadie, MSN, RN, CHPN obtained her BSN from the University of Tampa in 2010 and later earned her MSN with a focus in Leadership & Management from Walden University in 2021. Her nursing career began in Acute Care Neurology, where she honed her clinical skills before expanding her experience into Long-Term Acute Care and Urgent Care settings. However, it was in her role as a Hospice RN Case Manager where Chelsey discovered her true calling: caring for patients and their families through serious illness and the end-of-life journey. Her work in hospice deepened her compassion for those facing life-limiting conditions and solidified her commitment to palliative care.
Driven to further develop her professional career while sharing her passion for palliative care with others, Chelsey pursued her MSN, which led to her current role as Clinical Specialist at Moffitt. She has since contributed to the development of the Palliative Care Nurse Education Committee, which has served as a platform for the developing role of the Palliative Care Resource Nurse. Chelsey also facilitates palliative and end-of-life care courses for all nurses orienting to Moffitt to ensure they are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge to support patients through challenging times. She strives to inspire and mentor nurses to foster a compassionate and informed approach to patient care.
Chelsey is also a mom to two beautiful children, her greatest love and purpose.
