Doris Phildor

Doris Saintil Phildor, MPH

Doris Saintil Phildor, MPH serves as Health System Director for the Alzheimer's Association. With a focus on NYC, Long Island, Hudson Valley, and Northeastern NY, Ms. Phildor is part of a national team working to improve timely diagnosis and quality care for persons living with dementia and their care partners. In this role, Ms. Phildor collaborates with leaders in acute care, primary care, FQHCs, and payers to implement strategies to reduce risk for dementia, link to local resources, and adopt best practice models such as IHI Age-Friendly Health Systems, UCSF Care Ecosystem, and the UCLA ADC Program. Ms. Phildor has extensive experience in clinical quality improvement working with both executive hospital leadership and frontline staff.  

Prior to coming to the Association, Ms. Phildor was the Delivery System Reform Incentive Program (DSRIP) Site Director at Mount Sinai Hospital with a focus on quality improvement efforts to reduce hospital admissions/emergency room visits and collaboration with community-based organizations to address social determinants of health. She also worked as Senior Ambulatory Care Transformation Coach at NYC Health and Hospitals, the nation's largest public hospital system to guide practices in achieving Patient-centered Medical Home designation. Ms. Phildor began her career working at Cicatelli Associates Inc., a nonprofit providing technical assistance and training to clinical providers, case managers, and administrative staff. She received her Masters in Public Health at Columbia University School of Public Health and her BA from Wellesley College.
