Elizabeth Jurczak, MSW
Elizabeth (Liz) Jurczak is an Education Project Manager, leading project management and coordination efforts to support the Education Department's priorities. She collaborates with internal content experts and external field leaders with the goal of providing high-quality palliative care program design in provider organizations nationwide.
With over 10 years of experience in health care, Liz has served as a medical social worker, project manager, and researcher. She is currently an adjunct professor and PhD candidate at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Her research, informed by her professional experiences and guided by social justice and health equity, focuses on interprofessional collaboration, tobacco and substance use treatment, palliative care, and social work practice.
Liz holds a BA and MSW from Rutgers University and is a licensed social worker in New York and New Jersey. She is a first-generation college student and a 1.5 generation immigrant.
