Komal Chandra, PhD

Dr. Komal Chandra is the Vice President, Quality and Corporate Compliance at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She previously served as the System Director of Operations for Patient Safety and High Value Care at NYC Health + Hospitals. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and higher education, Dr. Chandra is a passionate advocate for equity, holistic wellness, and patient safety. She holds a Master of Medical Humanities from Drew University and a PhD in Urban Systems with a focus on Urban Health from Rutgers University and New Jersey Institute of Technology. In addition to her leadership role, she is an adjunct professor of Medical Humanities and an international speaker on Leadership, Wellness, and Equity.
