Meaghan Trainor, MD

Meaghan Trainor, MD is a palliative care specialist at the University of Wisconsin and the inpatient medical director for palliative care at Meriter and UW Hospitals. Dr. Trainor received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After completing residency in internal medicine, she went on to pursue further training in hospice and palliative medicine both at the University of Michigan. Dr. Trainor’s mission in clinical practice is to provide high quality palliative care to patients across the spectrum of serious illness with particular attention to the collaboration between palliative care and other medical specialties. Her academic interests include quality improvement in palliative care. She serves on the national Palliative Care Quality Collaborative Quality Improvement Council.
