Norma Puente, ANP-C

Norma Puente is a kind and compassionate Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C) with over 20 years of experience in nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Texas and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has also recently obtained certification as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) through the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center (HPCC).

Norma specializes in Palliative Medicine, where she is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. Her focus includes reducing physical distress and symptom burden while addressing the emotional and social impacts of living with a serious illness.

Throughout her career, Norma has worked in various healthcare settings, including primary care, oncology, and palliative care. Her commitment to excellent care is exemplified by her 29 years of dedicated service at CHI Baylor St. Luke's Hospital.
