DEI at the Seminar
The CAPC National Seminar planning committee is deeply committed to fostering an environment that reflects and celebrates the diversity of our professional community and the communities we serve. Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) principles have guided every step of the Seminar planning process, from selecting session topics and speakers to creating an environment where all attendees feel welcomed, valued, and represented. The Seminar’s programming emphasizes that equity is central to quality care, and that palliative care leaders are called to address barriers faced by underrepresented and underserved populations.
Together, we aim to create an inclusive learning environment that equips all health care professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality, equitable, and compassionate care to all individuals.
